It was directed and edited by Mike Flanagan and written by Jeff Howard and Flanagan. Based on the suspense novel by Stephen Kind, Gerald’s Game tells the story of a woman, who fights to survive when her husband dies unexpectedly, leaving her handcuffed to their bed frame. The film cast stars Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Bruce Greenwood, Carel Struycken, Kate Siegel, Chiara Aurelia, Stu Cookson, Tom Glynn and Natalie Roers. It is scheduled to be released on September 29, 2017, by Netflix.

A scary dog also enters the bedroom at some point and we hope to God he is just a figment of her imagination and a titillation from King’s end. Leaving Jessie without any hope, Gerald’s Game hits the viewer sharply in the face with an entirely believable and terrifying situation.
